Abstract:
Driven by the modern mine threat and the development trend of unmanned equipment, European countries have launched improvement projects for traditional mine clearance equipment. This paper briefly describes the background and overview of the modular lightweight mine clearance project, systematically sorts out the three development stages, member institutions and system composition of the project, studies and analyzes the key technological breakthroughs in electromagnetic and acoustic signal simulation, lightweight module design, unmanned vessel towing depth control, as well as the organizational model and application transformation of multi-national collaborative research and development. It summarizes the main experiences of European countries in enhancing the safety, flexibility and interoperability of mine clearance operations, and points out that unmanned, intelligent and systematized are the important directions for future mine countermeasure capability construction.
